Obama's Sexist Attacks

The truth is that now even Barack Obama has started in with sexist attacks.

"You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig," he said to laughter and applause from his audience at a Lebanon, Viginia, campaign rally.

This I can almost give him a pass on this quote because he was just trying to turn Sarah's comments around on her. But, his usage and tone makes me feel he really is calling Sarah a pig which is a derogatory term for a promiscuous needy woman.

"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change, but it's still going to stink after eight years."

This one bothers me even more and makes you consider the first comment in a whole new light. An "old fish" is DEFINITELY a derogatory term for an older woman and is referring to a part of the female anatomy. But, lets say I am wrong here. If he were referring to John McCain as an "old fish", then he is, not too subtly, promoting age discrimination! Name calling has no place in this campaign!

I can't believe there is not more of an uproar from woman across this country. Obama should be on all the major news outlets begging for forgiveness!!! If the polls drop even further for Obama over the next two days, maybe he'll get the message and apologize.
